On march 4 2021 my wife and I went to court on two charges,one on Barking dog the other
Unrestrained dog. On both trials officer Wenthe, badge#195 city of Bozeman Animal Control and our
neighbor George Durkin 3225 Augusta Dr. committed perjury. When George was asked where he was
when the video was taken and the dog started barking he stated on his back deck just looking up at the
stars. This was at 2230 hrs freezing cool, must have excellent eye site seeing it was over cast and
snowing. You can see the video he took of my wife wasn't taken from his back deck. George came
out off dark and identified himself, he was definitely in our yard his foot prints were in the fresh snow
coming from his yard into our yard . Is he a peeking tom ? George has been harassing and tormenting
us for the past 10 years. He continues telling us he was going to get rid of our animals and there wasn't
ang think we could do about it. We have checked with our other neighbors to see if our animals were
causing problems . he is the only one who complains. Very frighting experience for wife. We live in
fear for our safety as well as our animals. We called the police department the next day after seeing
the foot prints,sure looks like we had somebody spying on us. The police officer issued George a
warning . This was not the first time this has happen causing our dogs to bark. The second charge
Unrestrained Dog. Yes one of our dogs broke loose for less then five minutes. But this incident
happened months earlier All our dogs are keep on a leach when outside because of George even in
our yard. Officer Wenthe came to our door and issue Barbra my wife a citation for a unrestrained
dog for Jan.n 20`h running loose at 1700 hrs,when questioned said he had picture,with time and date.
He was informed this couldn't be the dog was not in Bozeman on that date. Officer Wenthe said he
would look into it. A week later came back with same citation. In court instead of a picture a video was
shown. This video was taken on a bright day with No snow on the ground indicating it was taken in the
summer not winter. Bridger Gulf course is used as a cross country ski area with lots of snow. Officer
Wenthe in court accused us for having another dog picked up running loose which is also a lie. We live
on Bridger golf course, where people walk their dogs unrestrained sun up to sun down, why were we
singled out It appears officer Wenthe and George had been collaborating together. How many others
have been put in this same position. You would think officer Wenthe would examine the charges such
as asking our other neighbor. All information can be checked by court records plus a Bozeman police
report. My wife is continually on guard not knowing if George will becoming out or stocking her, his
actions continues to escalates my wife is very frightened to be any where near him. Would have
written sooner but I have been in hospital.
