Hello,
My name is Steve Wiechmann and I live at 6169 Blackwood Rd, Bozeman MT 59718 in the Meadow Creek
Subdivision.
The purpose of this email is to express concern over the R-4 consideration for Buffalo Run. While I fully recognize
that the open land around us can and will be developed, I feel that this project is missing several key considerations.
First, the traffic coming through our subdivision as primary access to this project jeopardizes the safety of our
neighborhood and exceeds the capacity our streets were built to manage. Second, the report submitted to you states
there is “adequate” water supply to support this new project. Our entire neighborhood has low water pressure and is
barely adequate as it is. Many of us have boosters to increase pressure. This project will further deteriorate our
pressure possibly leading to the high costs of adding to or adjusting sprinkler systems and backed up sewer pipes.
Please, look very carefully at the arguments presented in this development application and consider an R-3 zoning to
align with the current neighborhood and surrounding areas.
