Dear Chris,
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) staff would like to thank you for the opportunity
to provide input on the proposed South University District – Phase 3.
South 19th Ave./U-1201/U-1216 in this area is a city maintained/permitted urban route and we have
no comments or concerns on this project. Kagy Blvd/U-1212 is also a city maintained and permitted
urban route, however it is an access-controlled facility. Therefore, we needed to compare the access
control resolution to the project and found that the project does comply with the resolution, so we
have no further comments or concerns on this route either.
