We urge the city of Bozeman to DENY Gallatin Gateway Pub’s
request to add height and increase light wattage.
For the benefit of present and future generations as well as visitors of
Bozeman’s Community we stress these objectives:
· The importance of maintaining a sense of relatedness and continue the
welcoming character of the surrounding buildings with low profile
structures. And not begin a pattern of tall buildings as we develop ourunique community.
· As this intersection is developed let’s embrace this opportunity to
create an experience of relief and calm for thousands of vehicle and
pedestrian’s as they pause for the light change or cross the street. Achieve
this by limiting building height and light pollution. In addition the goal of
enhancing the streetscape with public art and most important thoughtfuland respectful landscape design of the stream running through this corner.
· Let’s create a beautiful space that continues to be a witness of our
values, identity and respect for nature here in Bozeman. And that’s why
we call Bozeman home.
