Mayor Andrus and Commissioners,
Thank you for the opportunity to share my strong support for appointing Christopher Coburn to the open
commission seat.
I know Christopher through our shared work in community and public health sector. Christopher cares
about every member of our community. He brings knowledge and experience as well as a collaborative
approach to solving tough challenges, whether that’s how to reduce mental health stigma or how to
address chronic homelessness. Christopher is hardworking and has demonstrated an ability to keep
multiple initiatives moving forward at once. He is skilled at tailoring evidence-based approaches to the
unique needs of our community.
As a young professional, Christopher understands the challenges faced by just about everyone trying to
make a life in Bozeman. His experience will bring valuable perspective and depth to the commission’s
decisions. He is actively engaged in our community through both his profession and volunteer work. He
listens and is accessible and open-minded. He will be a great addition to the commission.
