Dear Commissioners:
It is truly a gift to have two such qualified and committed candidates to fill the
Commission position vacated recently by Michael Wallner. Both Tom Woods and
Chris Coburn have so much to offer our community. All things being equal, I urge you
to select Chris Coburn for this position. While Mr. Wood's experience and public
service record is indeed admirable, I truly believe that Mr. Coburn will bring to the
commission a perspective that is sorely lacking in our City leadership. Bozeman's
rapid growth demands that we look outside of our traditional arenas to understand theissues facing newcomers and people of color. Mr. Coburn is smart, he is clearly
driven, and I believe will represent this City well.
