Dear City Commissioners,
My name is Isabel, I am a young Bozeman resident (621 N. Bozeman Ave). I write today as a
representative of the Gallatin Valley Sunrise hub. As you make your decisions for the openCommission seat, I hope you will consider our joint statement.
Gallatin Valley Sunrise proudly supports Christopher Coburn for the Bozeman’s open city
commission seat. Christopher is not only eminently qualified, currently serving on the
Gallatin City-County Board of Health, but he brings an important youth perspective. Our generation feels the impacts of the covid-crisis, economic crisis, and climate crisis every
day. Our lives thus far have shown us how important it is to be involved in decision making. With Christopher serving on the City Commission, we believe Bozeman youth will be
represented in the fight for a sustainable future where all can thrive. We hope to get the chance to work with him as Commissioner Coburn.
