Wow, how about this, just posted on NextDoor, with photos ... Contractor shirking what they were to dofor revegetation per agreement with city of Bozeman. Posted by L.B. Weisberger, New Hyalite View(link at end)Park land rehab / seeding from sewer work last year. Hello New Hyalite View neighbors. Last year
there was a sewer rehabilitation project throughout the neighborhood. We were told by the
contractor, DOWL, that the disturbed park land would be cleaned up and reseeded. That did not
happen last fall. When called last fall, Lisa Olmsted, DOWL Public Involvement Manager, assured us
that the areas that are currently sticky gumbo would be leveled, cleaned and replanted. That never
happened. A follow up call was made last week and Lisa Olmsted replied that the rehab was already
done according to her supervisor. Question to my neighbors - are there dig sites near you that need
rehab to mitigate erosion and the gumbo when wet? Chime in on this forum AND if you are motivated, call Lisa Olmsted at DOWL, 406-551-1460. The goal is to get the rehab work that was assured per DOWL's contract with the City of Bozeman. And done early in the season so the disturbed areas can grow some native grasses and not become weed plots or mud patches. Thanks!!
