Dear Mayor and City Commissioners,
I am writing today in support of Christopher Coburn's appointment to the City Commission. I have had the pleasure ofcollaborating with Christopher on some significant community-building efforts over the past three years and have beenconsistently amazed at his talent for bringing together different perspectives to make change happen. I have no doubt he willbring a collaborative approach to his work on the City Commission and will invite all members of our community toparticipate in the democratic process.
Christopher would also bring the lived experience of a young professional in Bozeman. As a millennial myself with a youngfamily, I know what a challenge it can be affording childcare and the steep cost of housing in the valley. Christopher'sposition on the Commission would help others like me feel we are well represented in our City government.
And finally, Christopher's professional and volunteer service is impeccable. His service on the Gallatin City-County Board ofHealth, many nonprofit boards, and professional role at Bozeman Health have well-positioned him to hear from manyunderrepresented populations in our community.
