Mr. Mayor and Commissioners, I write to wholeheartedly recommend Tom Woods for appointment to the
vacancy on the Bozeman City Commission. Tom has served in the Montana Legislature and distinguished
himself with work toward equity, sensitivity to citizens' needs, and fairness, all qualities that he'd bring to
the Bozeman City Commission. Tom is dedicated to public service; his years as a citizen legislator reflected
the values that would serve our community well if Tom were appointed to the Bozeman City Commission.
Tom contributes to our community in a myriad of ways and knows well the issues and challenges faced by
our fast-growing, vibrant, and hopefully increasingly diverse community. The relationships he's made with
communities, organizations, and fellow elected officials across the state will help to inform his sound
decisions as a city commissioner. I hope you'll consider Tom Woods to continue in his service to his fellow
Bozemanites by appointing him to serve as commissioner. Thank you.
