Good afternoon Mayor and Commissioners.
My name is Heidi Genito, I live at 111 N Yellowstone Ave, Bozeman, MT 59718. I
would like to submit a comment via this email for the upcoming April 6 meeting:
I am asking you to appoint Christopher Coburn for Bozeman City Commission.
Christopher is a young professional who knows, first hand, the challenges of trying to
establish yourself in Bozeman. His perspective and lived experience will be a
valuable addition to the Commission. He rents an apartment and, like many people,
is directly impacted by the affordable housing crisis. We need to include people who
are experiencing the issues as we work to solve them. I strongly believe we need thevoice of someone who represents the median age in Bozeman (28) on our City
Commission. It is so important that we are able to retain young working professionals
in this community who care and give back... this cannot just be a place for the
wealthy, real estate investors, and second home owners!
