To the Mayor and Commissioners of the City of Bozeman,
We are writing this afternoon to address the current vacancy on the City Commission and our
support for Christopher Coburn to fill the position. As young professionals in Bozeman wewould like to see the city council be more representative of the community it serves.
Christopher is an experienced individual who will serve the city with a firsthand knowledge of
some of the most pressing issues the City of Bozeman is facing. He has served on the GallatinCity-County Board of Health through Covid-19 and consistently participates in City processes
and commission meetings. This current level of engagement shows he understands the level ofcommitment it takes to sit on the commission and already has a working knowledge that will
allow him to jump right in and contribute. Christopher also helps to fill key missing representation on the commission as a young
working professional facing issues that many residents are grappling with: housing andaffordability issues, a concern with growth and development, and access to health care and
critical services. He will bring fresh perspective and a work ethic we can all look up to.
