Dear Planning Department,
I am writing in reference to Project 21005 at the corner of Cattail and Davis. The land
on the southwest side of this intersection is part of the only wetland complex left in
this area. The wetlands are home to many songbirds, birds or prey, foxes, and deer. I
am concerned about the prospect of development at this site, as the only option would
be destruction of the habitat. As we are so lacking in any remaining wetlands in
Gallatin County, this site is important. Please let me know the appropriate persons to
voice my concerns as well as provide the identity of the person or company who will
complete an environmental assessment of the area.
