FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Declared this 30th day of March,2021
Bozeman Public Library Re-opening
WHEREAS,the Library has begun to resume services,under local and state monitoring
and re-opening plans; and,
WHEREAS,continued utilization of social distancing practices has reduced the level of
transmission of the COVID-19 virus;
WHEREAS,the Library has implemented a variety of safety protocols in order to protect
employees and visitors from potential exposure to COVID-19, including but not limited to
requirements to wear a mask; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, as City Manager of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and as chief
executive officer of the City, and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the City of Bozeman
Charter and the laws of the State of Montana, I hereby issue this Order in fulfillment of the
Emergency Declaration dated March 16,2020.
As such, I order the following:
1. The closure of the Bozeman Public Library established on March 16,2020 in Order ED-
01 is hereby repealed effective March 30,2021.
2. This order supersedes the previous Order ED-01.
3. The Library Director may close portions of the building such as meeting rooms and study
rooms and these may be reopened by order of the Library Director.
4. All use by the public must comport with current regulations of the Gallatin City-County
Health Department including the wearing of face coverings and physical distancing. The
Library may refuse service to those who do not wear face coverings or comply with other
requirements of the GCCHD or the City.
