Tom Woods would be an asset to the City Commission.
Tom doesn't come with an agenda.
Tom has a history of listening to members of the community with a willingness to help.
The oversight of the Legislature specifically on "tourist tax", that this Commission has fumbled for years to
attain. By limiting the power of the Commission the Legislative experience Tom brings to the seat would be
most beneficial.
Tom is an experienced legislator understands how the legislative process works. Given that insight he is
able to guide the Commission in working successfully with the legislature.
Additionally, having served on the House Appropriations Committee, Tom brings extensive knowledge to
the budget process and how to implement best practices.
