Dear Mayor Andrus and City Commission,
I am writing to support the budget amendment that will provide a $75,000 impact fee reimbursement to Haven. As a member
of Haven's Board of Directors, I know how important Haven's work is for the community and also appreciate how valuable a
partner the City has been in moving Haven's mission forward as well as in supporting the building of Haven's new shelter for
survivors of intimate partner violence.
With 30 bedrooms and 40 beds for survivors and their children, Haven's new facility will help the City achieve its goal of
providing 5,800 affordable housing units. It will provide a safe, welcoming place for survivors to heal and rebuild their
support networks. Thank you for your consideration.
