Dear Mayor Andrus and City Commission,
I am writing in support of the budget amendment that will provide a $75,000 impact fee reimbursement to Haven.
As a Chair of Haven's Board of Directors, I know how important Haven's work is in the community. The City has
been a valued partner in moving forward Haven's mission and in building a new shelter for survivors of intimate
partner violence.
With 30 bedrooms and 40 beds for survivors and their children, Haven's new facility will help the City achieve its
goal of providing 5,800 affordable housing units. It will provide a safe, welcoming place for survivors to heal and
rebuild their support networks. Thank you for your consideration.
