F. Action Items
1. 06:07:21 PM (00:02:45) 2020 Preservation Awards (Discussion)
City Historic Preservation Specialist Phillipe Gonzales stated that the preservation award
applications are due March 20th, and no applications have been received at this time. Board
members discussed what program could be provided instead of an awards ceremony. Mr.
Gonzales also answered if volunteers are needed for the Inventory and if there are requests
in the budget for the inventory.
2. 06:19:02 PM (00:14:26) Willson Project Update (Discussion)
Chelsea Holling gave an overview of the project, which is a multi-property listing for the Fred
Willson buildings in town. The project will start out as a listing of the Fred Willson buildings
that are currently registered, but will expand to include others. A draft of this project will be
presented at the May HPAB meeting.
3. 06:20:39 PM (00:16:03) Board Leadership (Discussion)
HPAB lost its Historic District Representative and currently no one on the Board lives in the
Historic district. This assignment needs to be determined. Commissioner Wallner will get
back with the board on this issue. The board does need to assign a chair. The Chairman
assignment is delayed until next meeting.
G. 06:30:24 PM (00:25:48) FYI/Discussion
Mr. Gonzales gave an update of contracted survey. The city will receive the second out of three
reports from the contractor this week. The final report will come at the end of June.
Commission Wallner asked if any board members received any complaints or comments about
the proposed parking permit requirements.
