Action Items 1. 19499 Eastlake Professional Center ZMA (Tom Rogers) A proposal to rezone eight acres across the street from the future Billings Clinic Campus from B-2 to B-2M. • 19499 Staff Report • 19499 Application • 19499 Narrative • 19499 Appendix C Exhibits • 19499 Documents 06:10:08 PM (00:01:36) City Staff Planner Tom Rogers presented an overview of the area being considered rezoned from B-2 to B-2M. He also presented the differences between these two zoning districts for comparison. This proposal will go before the City Commissioners on March 9th for their consideration. 06:18:39 PM (00:10:07) Mr. Rogers answered questions from the Zoning Commission members concerning the proposed project. 06:28:29 PM (00:19:57) Mr. Rogers presented the reasons why staff did not consider this proposal as spot zoning under state law. 06:33:20 PM (00:24:48) Ryan Krueger, from Intrinsik Architecture, introduced himself and answered questions from the Commission members. Mr. Krueger stated that at this time no firm proposals are planned for this property and that the requested zoning would allow for more dynamic possibilities for any future proposals for this property. 06:37:50 PM (00:29:18) Public Comment: None 06:38:06 PM (00:29:34) MOTION: Having reviewed and considered the staff report, application materials, public comment, and all information presented, I hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for application 19-499 and move to recommend approval of the Eastlake Professional Center Zone Map Amendment, with contingencies required to complete the application processing. G. 06:41:00 PM (00:32:28) FYI/Discussion 1. Other Updates Mr. Rogers talked about the Zoning Commission schedule and the currently scheduled March 17th falls during school spring break and the Planning Board will have their Community Development Plan back for review. It is proposed that the March 17 meeting be cancelled and all agenda items be moved to March 24. There was no objection with the schedule change.
