Or, if people favor a different option, I’m sure we’d find that fine as well. Most of us are a bit concerned about how fast cars (maybe not just college students) drive along 6th . Thank you for taking the time to respond to our poll. The results of that poll showed support for the proposed reconstruction of South 6th Avenue so the City will move forward with the preliminary design. We’d like to hold another neighborhood meeting to share that design and gather feedback from you. Please see the attached letter for more information. As a reminder, this project still needs to go through the formal Special Improvement District (SID) process. Once the design has been completed, estimated costs will be determined and the formal SID process will begin. At that time, homeowners within the proposed district will have the opportunity to formally protest creation of the district. Please reach out if you have any questions. Happy Holidays!
