Hannan - SID 762 S. 6th AveFrom:Erich Hannan To:Katherine Maines Subject:Re: S. 6th Proposed Reconstruction Project Date:Friday, November 27, 2020 6:18:12 PM Molly and I will vote YES for this project, especially if we can include some traffic calming measures. I understand that any traffic calming measures will come at additional cost to meand the neighbors. I am in favor of a larger, more effective barrier at the corner of 6th and Cleveland. I would also like to see some pedestrian bump outs along S 6th street, similar towhat is in N. Wallace. I am especially concerned about the speed of traffic at the corner of 6th and Alderson, especially going east/west on Alderson. I'd love to see an option to getsummertime traffic calming options, like a box of flowers that we can plunk down in the intersection and pick up in the winter for snow plows. One piece of advice for the next time the city pitches these projects to subsequentneighborhoods, or even in future conversations about S 6th. I REPEATEDLY heard from my neighbors that "75% is not fair" or that "75% is too much" the current wording of the two lawslayered on top of each other is TOO CONFUSING for most people I guess. I tried to carry the message that NOBODY SHOULD SAY 75% associated to this project, but it hasn't stuck. Assoon as people see the table that says 75/25, it sticks in their head and won't leave. Maybe put a large NOT APPLICABLE stamp next to the table, or something? For some reason, peopledon't understand the $ cap per square foot layered on top of the 75/25 means that 75/25 is not applicable. I'd try to clean up that messaging in the future. Thanks!Erich & Molly Hannan 702 S 6th On Fri, Nov 20, 2020 at 10:58 AM Katherine Maines <KMaines@bozeman.net> wrote: Good morning.
