Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your questions and for your input at the meeting last night. The water and sewer work on S .6th willbe covered by city water and sewer funds regardless of the SID. But if the SID fails, then the water/sewer workwould move to “unscheduled” in our CIP; meaning that the city recognizes that it needs to be done, but it is notscheduled to be done in our 5-year plan.
I also heard a lot of interest in traffic calming and I think Koch and 6th would be a great location for it. I wouldencourage the residents on 6th to write their interest in traffic calming on their postcards when they turn them in. Ifwe move forward with the project, we can present different traffic calming options at our next meeting and make adecision on what to design into the project.
