I attended the first web-based neighborhood meeting Fall of 2020. It was so informative and gracious. It changed ,my mind to be in favor of the project, which I still am. I tried very hard to join the meeting in January and could not get connected no matter how many times I followed the prompts and directions. I was copied in on a recent letter to you from Richard Kerin. The letter does NOT represent my husband or me. We do NOT want a traffic circle on Story!!! I know there will be one on Koch and S. 6th and we need something at that corner to calm traffic and prevent accidents. Please do not add any more traffic circles. Richard's letter had a harsh tone which also does not represent my husband or me. As I began this letter, I have appreciated the way you all seem to want to work with us residents. Will the traffic circle accommodate my full size van and large campers and big FedEx trucks? Will our concrete sidewalks to the curb be undisturbed during road and curb construction? Thanks again for your communications. Sincerely, Dick and Joy Schroeder 408 S. 6th Ave. 406-570-2655 -----Original Message----- From: Katherine Maines <KMaines@BOZEMAN.NET> To: Katherine Maines <KMaines@BOZEMAN.NET> Sent: Mon, Dec 21, 2020 11:18 am Subject: South 6th Proposed Reconstruction Good morning! Thank you for taking the time to respond to our poll. The results of that poll showed support for the proposed reconstruction of South 6th Avenue so the City will move forward with the preliminary design. We’d like to hold another neighborhood meeting to share that design and gather feedback from you. Please see the attached letter for more information. As a reminder, this project still needs to go through the formal Special Improvement District (SID) process. Once the design has been completed, estimated costs will be determined and the formal SID process will begin. At that time, homeowners within the proposed district will have the opportunity to formally protest creation of the district. Please reach out if you have any questions. Happy Holidays!
