We advertised the position state wide and after a recruitment period I went through all applications filed
to make sure all applicants have practiced law in the state of Montana and had well qualified applicants.
My preferred applicant is J. Colleen Herrington.
We look forward to working with Ms. Herrington. She has considerable experience in the area of criminal
law including 8 years of experience as the part time Bozeman Municipal Judge from 2012—2019. She !I
has served very well and I believe will well represent the Court. !I
