Delin - Buffalo RunFrom: Colter Delin To: Agenda Subject: Buffalo Run Development Date: Sunday, February 7, 2021 9:04:39 PM Dear City Commissioners of Bozeman, As a family with kids, a member of Meadow Creek Subdivision, and a homeowner on Kurt Avenue, we strongly disapprove of the higher density development that is proposed to connect to a subdivision that consists of primarily single-family homes. Both my wife and I were born and raised in Bozeman. We've seen this town change in so many ways, and we understand that it will only continue to grow. That's what great cities do! The only question is how we manage it. These are our 2 largest issues: The traffic and safety problem that will be created on Kurk and 27th Avenue. Meadow Creek was not designed for a backdoor access to high-density development. This allows for a high-density development in an area surrounded by rural, agricultural land that does not plan to be developed. A development of this capacity should be located closer to established services and roads designed for high density traffic. Like I previously stated, development is inevitable. But given that Buffalo Run will primarily affect the residents of Meadow Creek, I strongly feel that the zoning should not allow for anything higher than single-family housing. Two similar density subdivisions are understandable, but a high density development in this location does not align with Meadow Creeks Subdivision's plans or the City of Bozeman's plans either. Thank you, Colter & Rachel
