Dear Bozeman City Commissioners,
As a resident of Meadow Creek I am deeply concerned about the proposed Buffalo Run development adjacent to
Meadow Creek. When we bought this house nearly 4 years ago, we were told that development here at the edge of
the city limit would be at a minimum, mostly due to water restrictions. Since then Meadow Creek has been
surrounded by Southbridge, the Blackwood Rows, the massive development of townhomes on our eastern edge off
of Enterprise Blvd, South Rows and the large apartment building at the corner of Enterprise and Graf. And now, the
Gran Ceilo development is being built alongside our neighborhood as well! Clearly, with another R-5 zoned
development we at Meadow Creek will be surrounded by high density housing. This is both unaesthetic and
unappealing to single family homeowners. Please only allow the proposed Buffalo Run development to be zoned R-
1, single family homes.
Our family has spent the last 3 years cleaning up the neighborhood and meadows here of construction trash. And
the worst legacy of all are the dumps of construction dirt from multiple foundations for the many homes, townhomes
and apartments that have been built here, that have just been dumped into the meadowlands between Meadow Creek
and Southbridge!! Please, please help preserve our neighborhood and the beauty of the surrounding environment.
Traffic is of upmost concern too and any further development should not be allowed until an additional entrance off
of Stuckey Road is built.
