As a resident of Meadow Creek (3386 S 29th
Ave.) and a citizen of Bozeman, I have many concerns
about this development.
My biggest concern is the poor access to this site. Since I cross country ski by the west end of Kurk
adjacent to the proposed development several times a week, I am very familiar with this site. Only
the Southern edge of Kurk aligns with Buffalo Run property. There is also a fire hydrant that might
need to be relocated. Any attempt to access Blackwood Rd., which is not a through street, would
badly disrupt Ainsworth Park and the detention pond. These are just a few of my ‘personal’ concerns
about access.
Another issue that affects adjacent properties, including ours, is the lack of sufficient water
pressure. Our pressure is often 35 PSI during the summer. This means that some of our sprinkler
heads will not even pop up, much less cover the usual area. If this were a sewer problem, a lift
station would help. How could you solve this water pressure problem? Our internal pressure
regulator is maxed out.
