I am writing concerning the proposed R-5 high density zoning (Buffalo Run) next to Meadow Creek. As
someone that lives in Meadow Creek, I find myself concerned about the traffic plan. As it stands now, it is
not acceptable and needs to be changed in order to lessen the impact of traffic in, around, and through the
area. Homeowners here decided to move into this area with two things in mind. The first is that the
proximity to downtown Bozeman and yet the quiet atmosphere of the neighborhood is the exact mix of
what makes this an amazing place. The second is that while we know Bozeman is growing and that
development will occur, it was always with the understanding that we would be able to maintain the
lifestyle we now enjoy. The zoning and planning folks have done a good job overall in the growth of our city,
but we can do better than the proposed traffic plan. I urge the City Commission to amend this traffic plan
as it is unacceptable as it stands at the present time.
