Hi Cody – The calcs look good to me. 4.2 AF increase is acceptable given the info provided below. We’ll confirm the irrigation volume from the
landscape sheets and add that to the 2.7 AF increased domestic use.

Good Morning Brian,
Per our discussion last week, DNRC is unable to find existing water right claims for the irrigation wells at the Gibson Guitar property. Given the
well locations within the Bozeman Solvent Site CGWA it is assumed these wells will need to be disconnected until such time as the CGWA is absolved or
existing water rights for these wells are discovered. Additionally, we are unable to identify process water or planned fixture upgrade reductions at this
point in the design, so the domestic demand increase assumes a linear escalation to increase from 160 to 286 peak employees/day at the
facility. Calculations for the estimated domestic water demand increase and connection of the new irrigation system to City water are provided below.
Would you have a chance to review and offer any comments as it relates to water adequacy and CILWR payments for this project?
Domestic Water Use:
Current Average Domestic Water Use - Meter Data Jan 2015- Jun 2020: 3,067 GPD = 3.44 AC-FT/YR
Current Peak Users: 160 employees/day
Current Daily Use/Employee: 19.17 GPD
Projected Peak Users: 286 employees/day
Projected Daily Use/Employee: 19.17 GPD
Projected Average Domestic Water Use: 5,483 GPD = 6.14 AC-FT/YR
Projected Domestic Water Use Increase: +2,416 GPD = +2.7 AC-FT/YR
Irrigation Water Use:
Irrigated turf area: 30,252 SF = 0.69 acres
Turf watering rate (May-Oct): 24 in/yr
Annual turf irrigation volume: 1.38 AC-FT/YR
Individual plant watering rate (24-weeks May-Oct): 1,922 gal/wk
Annual plant irrigation volume: 0.14 AC-FT/YR
Projected Irrigation Water Use: +1.5 AC-FT/YR
Total Project Water Use Increase: +4.2 AC-FT/YR
