Addressed to the five-member Bozeman Zoning Commission
1) It is inconceivable to believe that a new housing development, Buffalo Run, would expect their condo
owners to drive onto Kurk Drive in Meadow Creek subdivision to access south 19th avenue. This is not
acceptable, and would compound the traffic flow in a negative manner for Meadow Creek residents. Traffic
study has estimated more than 2,000 vehicles per average weekday on Kurk Drive!
2) A high-density condo, R-5 complex, such as Buffalo Run,
should be built closer to the city-center, for residents who would be within walking distance of several
shops and stores. It's premature for a large condo complex of 288 units to be built
so far south on 19th avenue.
3) The developers of Buffalo Run, in their myopic viewpoint, has wanted to build a new road through
Ainsworth Pao Buffalo Run, by taking away a 60-foot block of the park in order to extend 31st street into
Buffalo Run. Absolutely unaid alsocceptable!
4) The proximity to schools from Buffalo Run is also a concern as the closest public school is two miles.
Moving this condo complex nearer to the city-center would appease parents whose children would have
public transportation.
