Hi all,
I’m a resident of Meadow Creek subdivision in the SW area of Bozeman.
My family and I have lived there for 8 years now.
I just wanted to voice my opposition to the Buffalo Run subdivision being such a high density
subdivision without adequate access to it from major traffic arteries.
Essentially the plans seem to be funneling what is estimated as 2100 vehicle trips/day into an
isolated corner of the current neighborhood which is a low density area.
I’m all for higher density housing, but the roads and infrastructure simply are not in place yet in this
area to support such an increase in traffic flow.
The plans also call for losing parkland to punch a road through right next to a playground in our park
that all of the small children in the neighborhood frequent.
The R-5 zoning for this particular area at this particular time seems unnecessary and potentially
dangerous.
