Brawner - Buffalo Run objection to Application 20112From: Diane Brawner To: Agenda Subject: objection to Application 20112 Date: Thursday, January 7, 2021 10:39:28 AM To the Dept of Community Development and Chris Saunders: I am writing as the property owner directly to the north of the proposed development and Annexation of the 20.79 acres directly adjacent to my two 40 acre parcels along Fowler. My parcels are: S23 T02 S R05 E, C.O.S. 1861 Tract A NE4SW4 40.773AC 06-0798-23-3-01-50- 0000 AND S23 T02 S R05 E, C.O.S. Tract 1 Section 23 2S 5E 40.735AC COS 2074 06-0798- 23-3-01-10-0000 I realize that development in the Bozeman area is inevitable. But I strongly object to the proposal to rezone this rural property area to an R-5 residential mixed- use high density district. by this out-of-state developer when the surrounding area is still rural and the developments nearby are all single family homes. Not only will this be life changing, it affects my livelihood in that I farm my 80 acres, run cattle on it and hay it. This type of zoning is not appropriate for this part of Bozeman and does not exist there now. I will also be sending this as a formal letter to the commission and commissioners but given the ineffective delivery service of the USPS, I worry that it will not arrive by the Jan 11th deadline, so I am sending it as an email first.
