The building at 25 E. Mendenhall is a five story commercial hotel built in 2014 as part of the Marriot chain. It is Contemporary in style, and occupies a corner lot. Ell-shaped, the building is flat-roofed and has a concrete foundation. The corner tower block is slightly taller than the rest of the building, and dominates the south, or primary, façade. It is clad primarily in brick veneer, with synthetic stucco beneath the windows. A variety of window types and sizes are present and include metal framed fixed windows and paired plate glass windows with casement side-lites. The main entry is at-grade on the south façade, accessed from a shallow paved parking area. The entry is defined by a projecting frame that extends above the fifth floor roofline. The entry's flat roofed canopy extends to protect a bank of glass doors with fixed-lite windows. The site is in excellent condition but is modern.
