This site is a modern 2.5-story commercial bank building built in 2004 on the site of the former Story Motor Company (24GA0919).
The current structure is concrete and brick and has an irregular plan shape with an angled rear wing extending southwest from the rear (south) elevation. The building is faced in brick and the roof is gabled with gabled dormers, all covered in asphalt shingles. The
primary façade faces north onto W Main St. The main entry consists of a pair of doors centered in a recessed bay on the façade. There is a flat roofed canopy above the entry and expansive banked windows on the second and third stories. Windows throughout the
building are paired metal fixed-lite, tinted-glass windows. A clockface is at the east end of the façade. The rear (south) elevation has three drive through teller lanes on the ground floor of the angled wing. Paved parking fills the rear of lot.

Area of Significance: Period of Significance: STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE This property was formerly the site of the Story Iron Works (24GA0919), remodeled and converted to the Story Motor Company automobile showroom by architect Fred Willson in 1925. Since originally recorded by James R. McDonald Architects in 1984, the historic structure has been demolished and, in 2004, replaced with the current modern bank building. This record reflects the current building, which is not historic and does not satisfy Criterion Consideration G (properties that have achieved significance within the past 50 years). Metcalf therefore recommends the property not eligible for inclusion in the NRHP.
