NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES
NRHP Listing Date:
NRHP Eligibility: Yes No Individually Contributing to Historic District Noncontributing to Historic District
NRHP Criteria: A B C D
Area of Significance: Period of Significance: STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE This property was formerly the site of the Litening Gas building (24GA0929). Since originally recorded by James R. McDonald Architects in 1984, the historic structure has been demolished and, in 2003, replaced with the current modern commercial building. This record reflects the current building, which is not historic and does not satisfy Criterion Consideration G (properties that have achieved significance within the past 50 years). Metcalf therefore recommends the property not eligible for inclusion in the NRHP.
