This site is a modern commercial building, under construction at the time of inventory. The building was designed by Bozeman firm
Intrinsik Architecture as part of a redevelopment of a property formerly occupied by a 1970s bank building known as the Big Sky Western Bank building. The current structure is nearly complete and stands three stories high. It has an irregular footprint and overall
boxy aesthetic in keeping with 21st Century Modern style. The roof is flat and the exterior is clad in a variety of materials concentrated in distinct blocks. Exterior materials include concrete, brick veneer, and steel panels. Window types present include
single-lite expansive plate-glass windows as well as four- and six-lite fixed windows. The primary entry faces north onto E Babcock Street beneath a cantilevered metal awning.
Construction site signage indicates the building, when complete, will have commercial retail space on the first story and apartment
units above. The property is in excellent condition but is modern and, in fact, still under construction.
