Bicycle Connectivity
With the phased development of NWX, perimeter streets will be constructed with bike lanes in accordance with City standards. The regional trail will connect north-south through the site along Baxter Creek. Additional recreational loop trails will provide north-south and east-west connections across Homestead Park. Trails will also be tied into the community’s sidewalk system.
The bicycle pathways, along with the pedestrian connections and interconnected network of parks meets many of the goals and policies of the City of Bozeman PROST by; a.) providing recreational opportunities and are accessible and affordable to the community; b.) creating sense of community; c.) fostering social interactions; d.) promoting a healthy and active lifestyle; e) protecting and enhancing the beauty of the community; and f.) providing an array of transportation options and connections.
