Parking Program Manager’s Report

An update of major developments, in November, includes:
Staff Vacancies: We continue to work with HR for two vacancies, PEO I and Parking Manager. In the meaning time,
Mike Veselik was appointed as the interim parking manager until the parking manager position can be hired. We
are moving to the screening and interview process in the PEO I hiring process.
Passport App Development: Staff continue to lead the passport app development and implementation plan. We
are currently testing the app and have an initial design. Our team is working with facilities and signs to get the
information about how to use the App up in the Bridger Garage. We will provide a demonstration of the app
during this meeting.
Parking Engagement Planning: Staff continues to refine a scope of work for a community engagement session
with our consultants in January. The session will occur remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Occupancy Data: T2 Systems has changed the way in which they retrieve and share data. We are working with
T2 on a more efficient and reliable way of getting that information. We expect to have an occupancy report
prepared for the meeting, but it is not ready at this time.
Abandoned Snow Lumps: we are working with the Streets Division and Legal Dept. on a new process to efficiently
remove abandoned “snow lump” vehicles after a snow event. We have new notices designed that are awaiting
legal review.
Parkinglogix Occupancy signs: Staff continues to work with Parking Logix to complete the occupancy sign project.
