DEC. 2, 2020 6-8 p.m. via Webex (details below) BABAB’s purpose is to recommend safe bicycle practices throughout Bozeman in regard to enhanced bicycle circulation and design, community-wide bicycle education and safety programs, and other matters relating to bicycling in the Bozeman area. This meeting will be held using Webex, an online videoconferencing system. Public Comment (3 minutes for each speaker) (Note: If you are a member of the public and you would like to make a formal presentation or request action from the board please email the board a week prior to the next official meeting date. The Chair will consider placing the item for on the agenda vs. public comment so as to give the presenter time to adequately discuss their issue and give the board time to give feedback or make more formal decisions.) E. General Update from City Transportation Engineer Presentation (10 minutes, Taylor Lonsdale) F. Work Plan Adopt BABAB Work Plan, including final discussion/questions Action Item (10 minutes, Danae Giannetti) G. Rouse Ave & Intersections Consider situation and possible letter or other form of recommendation to the City Commission. ACTION Item (30 minutes, Jason Delmue) (Rouse item, continued) 1. Peach Street, crossing Rouse: West of Rouse: Prior: one vehicle lane going each way; one bike lane Now: THREE vehicle lanes going east, one going west; ZERO bike lanes (instead, bike lanes end about halfway between Montana Ave and Rouse Ave) East of Rouse: Prior: street had never really been built out, e.g., no sidewalks on N. side Now: THREE vehicle lanes going west, one going east, sharrows 2. Bike lane along Rouse: East side of Rouse: cars parked in the bike lane between Lamme and Peach 3. Summary of Public Comments: H. Priority Projects for FY22 Street Maintenance Funds Discuss and provide advisory comments regarding FY22 Street Maintenance Funds. This is funding jointly allocated to BABAB and PTSC.
