Date:Wednesday, November 18, 2020 12:21:57 PM Sirs, Isn’t it rather brazen to go against the President of the United States and the citizenry thereof to inflict this unfair and business killing protocol on us? Please refrain from saving us from ourselves. We are perfectly capable of monitoring our own utilities and usage and of choosing to maintain the cleanliness of our city and county. Unlike most of you I have cleaned miles of highways over the last twenty five years. I consider it a privilege to live in a clean and beautiful state. And for the city to concoct their own “Agenda 21" version of American suburban life without making it a ballot initiative is wrong. It is government overreach at its most distasteful. We are still perfectly capable of self governance as our Founding Fathers envisioned. I oppose the Bozeman Climate Plan. You have overstepped your duties. "The Paris Accord is mainly about money transfers, designed to provide a legacy for president Obama. Unlike the KP, the PA has little to do with climate. Although it talks bravely about keeping global warming below 2degC, it never explains how to define and measure this (alleged) “critical” threshold. I recently referred to it as a big "nothing-burger" -- borrowing a term used by the late Anne Gorsuch, EPA chief under president Reagan.” S Fred Singer, American Thinker. The above quote touches but lightly on the difficulties involving the Paris Climate Accord notthe least of which puts restrictions and financial restraints and of course wealth redistribution on the back of the USA which other more egregiously polluting nations will ignore much lessobey. I wish you no luck with this program. Most Sincerely, Lathie Poole, Bozeman
