Hello-
I would like the City Commission to reconsider the parking lot fee structure. Currently,someone may park for $5.00 between the hours of 6am-6pm. A person may enter at 6am and
leave at 5:59pm and only pay $5.00. This is great, however a person who enters at 12 or 3 or 4(pick any time after 6am), pays the $5.00 "all day" rate, and leaves any time after 6pm is
ticketed $20.00. There are so many people who work downtown who work after 6pm. Maybethey work 4pm to 12pm. They are ticketed after 6pm! Why punish those people for not
working regular government hours? This structure needs to change. It should be based on timein/out, not a set time. Thank you for considering.
