Comments
I am very concerned about the Commission's intention to move forward with development of the Idaho
Pole site.
Years ago, Mary Vant Hull warned about developing the land near the landfill, citing a risk of leakage from
the landfill contaminating the adjacent properties, The Commission went ahead with the development.
Mary was right. Now, we taxpayers are paying for your foolish decision to proceed with that development. I
fear the Commission is about to move forward in a way that will saddle taxpayers with additional expensive
liability. I urge you to suspend further consideration of development at the Idaho Pole site. I Ho Pomeroy
may be the canary in the coal mine this time.
