SUBJECT: Sourdough Transmission Main Phase 2 Project - Amendment No. 1.
MEETING DATE: November 17th, 2020
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Robert Peccia and Associates.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of the partially executed Amendment No. 1 with Robert Peccia and Associates for the Sourdough Transmission Main Phase 2 Project. The document is in the City’s standard format. The original Professional Services Agreement was for the predesign services only. The predesign report analyzed pipe sizing, routing, and options for connection to the Sourdough Reservoir and is now complete. This amendment is to add the design phase services for the project which will take it up to
bidding. A future amendment will be processed to add the bidding and construction phase services at that time. It is anticipated that the project will be ready to bid in the spring of 2021.

ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission
FISCAL EFFECTS: $169,526 from the Water Impact Fee Fund (WIF40).
