Dear City Commissioners and Mayor Andrus,
I would like to add my voice to the concerns of my neighbors and the Gallatin County Health Department's
regarding the development of the Idaho Log and Pole Super Fund site.
It was also disturbing to me to be told that the Health Departments letter was left out of the' package' of
information given to Commissioners on this issue, at least originally. Actions like that do not instill any
public trust and confidence in a neighborhood already very wary of how developers and bureaucracy can
manipulate their agendas to a neighborhoods disadvantage i.e.
the Historic Brewery District as ONE example.
If you do approve this URD then it should have a BOARD of
CITIZENS and the first item to accomplish should be to restore
this poisoned piece of wetland in the direction it was originally intended to a more natural condition and
develop it in a way harmonious with the current development in the area.
