Davis Lane Lift Station Amendment No. 4
Scope of Services
Task 100. Baxter Lane Sewer Deepening
Objective:
Provide a revised design per direction from the City of Bozeman and Morrison Maierle to
accommodate sanitary sewer service to the west on Baxter Lane. Coordinate with DEQ
and City of Bozeman to permit the design changes. Coordinate with COP Construction
on design changes, contract documents, and construction materials.
Subtasks:
101 Review for Potential Conflict. Review the existing as-builts in Baxter Lane for
potential conflicts with public utilities. Review survey information, including
locates and potholes, for potential conflicts.
102 Not Used.
103 Redesign of Plans. Sanderson Stewart will update sanitary sewer plan and
profiles (C4.0 — C4.1) between stations 0+00 to 9+58.37. The redesign will be
based on maintaining the invert elevations at MH1 in Baxter Lane and M114 in
Equestrian Lane, shifting the alignment of main in Baxter Lane to align with the
centerline of the roadway, and deepening the sanitary sewer at MH1A as much as
possible. Direction on the realignment of the sanitary sewer main in Baxter Lane
has been provided by Morrison Maierle and the City of Bozeman.
104 Design Drop Manhole & Update Specifications. In order to deepen the sanitary
sewer in Baxter Lane to the depths requested by Morrison Maierle, a new drop
manhole (MH1A) is proposed. This may require an additional detail and
additional information in the Special Provisions.
105 Permit Plans (DEQ and City of Bozeman). Coordination with DEQ and the
City of Bozeman to permit the redesigned plans, if necessary. This shall include
minor revisions to the engineering report, if required. This item shall not include
significant modifications to DEQ permitting material or preparation of deviations.
106 Review Shop Submittals. Review of revised or new submittals, including
modifications to MH2 and MI -13 and new MH1A (drop manhole). Review of
additional submittals may be required.
107 Coordinate with COP Construction and Review Change Order. The
modifications will result in a change of scope to COP Constructions contract

work. Sanderson Stewart will assist in preparation of a change order to COP
Construction's contract as well as coordinate with COP Construction, HDR, and
