STRATEGIC PLAN: 1.2 Community Engagement: Broaden and deepen engagement of the community in city government, innovating methods for inviting input from the community and stakeholders. BACKGROUND: The Audit Committee has one Citizen-Accountant position vacancy and one citizen position vacancy due to a term expiration. One current committee member has reapplied for a term renewal. No new applications have been received. The role of the Audit Committee is to advise the City Commission regarding selection of an auditor, monitoring the audit while in process and reviewing the comprehensive annual financial report in detail, forwarding a recommendation to the Commission. The Audit Committee currently has one vacancy. The City Clerk’s Office has received one application, with their relevant qualifications indicated below. 1.
