Lady & Gentlemen:
For the second time this year a department of the City of Bozeman has sent out an erroneous statement to
homeowners that has to be corrected, submitted to the printers and mailed out to homeowners a second
time. This happened several months ago for the Water Dept. and now this month with the Special
Assessment. The cost of having to correct, re-print and re-send statements must be extremely expensive,
likely on the order of $30,000 or more.Does anyone proof-read this stuff before it is sent out?
Ultimately it is the local residents who get stuck with this expense. And God knows, this place is an already
expensive place to live.
