Please note the following modifications to the above referenced bid documents:
Specific Section – Attachment B: Plan Set, Sheet L701
Addition:
Part 3, Item E.7:
Subsurface piping (Netafim Techline CV or approved equal with 0.9gph or 0.6gph and 12"
spacing) to be installed per the attached subsurface irrigation tubing installation detail
(Attachment A to this Addendum 1).
Specific Section – Attachment B: Plan Set, Sheet L701
Clarification:
Part 3, Item F.1:
The City of Bozeman Streets Dept. has provided a 2” mainline and control wiring from a stub at
the south end of the southern-most median on N. 27th Ave to the well located at the corner of
Buckrake and Oak. Contractor’s responsibility to confirm the location of the sleeves and stub
with the City of Bozeman Streets Department.
Part 3, Item F.2:
Contractor is responsible for replacing the existing controller located at the NW corner of
Buckrake and Oak Streets with the specified controller with expansion modules to accommodate
18 zones. Control wiring has been provided by the City of Bozeman.

Addition:
Pre-bid Meeting Notes from October 22, 2020:
Hardscape:
The plan set shows that all median noses are to have concrete installed to allow for ease in snow
plowing and storage. See Standard Drawings sheet 72 for median nose detail.
Irrigation:
The additive alternate reflects work to install subsurface drip irrigation in place of overhead
spray for fescue seed areas on sheets L101/I101 – L106/I106. All bidders are required to include
a price for the additive alternate. The low bidder will be determined on the basis of the lowest
Total Schedule 1 Bid only.
Contract Time:
The selected contractor will be allowed 45 days to complete the project (total schedule 1 bid). If
the additive alternate is awarded, the contractor will be allowed 60 days to complete the project.
The completion date must occur by September 30th, 2021. The City of Bozeman will work with
the contractor to issue the notice to proceed at a time that works within the contractor’s schedule
as long as all work is completed by September 30, 2021.
Traffic Control:
The selected contractor will be required to submit a traffic control plan to the City of Bozeman
for approval. It will generally be acceptable to close one lane of traffic if needed.
Underground Utilities:
Utilities were not located for this design. It is the contractor’s sole responsibility to locate prior
to digging. If any conflicts are found, contractor will work with the Landscape Architect to
adjust as needed.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Bidder shall acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this Addendum No. 1 on the Bid Form to
validate their bid.
