Dear Commissioners,
I support and applaud your decision to appoint Jennifer Madgic to the City Commission Board.
.I have know Jennifer for many years when she worked for the Gallatin County Planning office. She was
diligent, responsive, and articulate in her work. As Vice Chair and Chair of the Planning Board in the 90's, I
was impressed with Jennifer's responsiveness to the board's concerns and her professionalism mitigating
community problems with subdivision proposals. Our hearings were always respectful and maintained
decorum much to Jennifer's calm professionalism. Jennifer also showed her talent with the public when she
ran for the Gallatin County Commission. People know Jennifer. She is knowledgeable, skillful, and genuine.
As your prerogative, you have the right to choose who you want for an open seat on the Commission. If the
rest of the public had know that there was need for public input for Jennifer, we would have been there.
I hope the fire dies soon on this issue and that Bozeman will see that you have made an excellent decision
appointing Jennifer Madgic.
