Jennifer is a long ago known and necessary addition to the City Commission. I can't begin to imagine
anyone who can better serve our city in that capacity. There cannot be any serious thought of her not being
there.
On the other hand, it is also DEFINITELY time for us to pay attention to our need for a commissioner of
color helping us to be a better city. In these days of difficulty for our Black brethren, it would be the
absolutely correct thing to do.
Please work with the City Commission to find a way to
expand your numbers, thereby giving the city the ensuing pride of having finally
added a person of color.
